We took the train to Bucharest, and stayed in a hotel room whose door didn't lock. The next day we saw Bogdan, another friend formerly from California, who helped us buy a used computer we found on the Internet at a McDonald's in a transaction that felt like a drug deal. (The computer has a Romanian keyboard, but as long as you don't look at the keys everything works the same.) Then we all hooked up with our friend Dan Timis's parents for a nice lunch.
