Palacio de Bellas Artes is a magnificent Art Deco building downtown. It features a performance space, with a glass curtain made by Tiffany which is only shown on Sunday mornings. Unfortunately, when we went back on Sunday morning, a performance was in progress and we couldn't see it. But there were many impressive murals by several Mexican artists that we were able to walk around and see.

Man at the Crossroads, by Diego Rivera. This is Rivera's recreation of the mural "Man In Control Of The Universe", commissioned for the Rockefeller Center in 1933. The Rockefellers didn't like the political content and had it painted over.

An "unobstructed" view of this mural, courtesy of Wikipedia. They are even more heavy handed with their contrast enhancement than I am.
